No-no powder

This seems a little OP. Will there be something to stop making it so easy to chain?

Its more of an exploit than a bug, but using it, and singing to easy to reach butterflies shoots your xp up, whether the fix for this involves making it only possible to sing to butterflies once a day or a re-balancing of no-no powder, I'm not sure.

  • Am I mean if I made five packets of No-No Powder solely to give to level 1 players for the "Kindly Acts of Randomness" quest? The Magic Rock told me to be creative...

  • Excuse my ignorance, but what does No-No Powder do?

  • When you take No-No powder you get a buff called "No-No Powder rush" while under it's effects, energy and mood are replenished instantly.

The buff lasts for an hour in-game time, when it's over you get a de-buff called "No-No Powder Crash" if you don't take more No-No powder, you die, and when you come back from Hell one, you have a de-buff called "Super pooped" this means you cant regenerate any mood/energy until the next game-day. I think so anyway, it may just be for a set amount of time.

  • Hmm, where did they come up with such a strange idea for a powder?

  • It was in Narnia books or some such … can't remember, exactly!

  • Haha, what I love is the info for it: "Some tempting no-no powder. You know you shouldn't, but maybe just this once..." XD

  • Wow I didn't know it could do all of that, sign me up! Really though, it seems like you could make a lot of it and earn yourself the zombie achievement - alpha.glitch.com/achievemen...

I still haven't tried Hell one yet. Can't wait till next test!

  • what happens when you die? do you lose your levels, goods, money, skills and achievements?

i remember there being a forum thread for it, but can't find it.

  • "what happens when you die? do you lose your levels, goods, money, skills and achievements?"

you don't lose any of that.

you just go to hell to crush grapes for a while and return to life with major energy and mood depletion and the whole "slowed down walking" thing.

it's rather inconvenient, but you don't lose anything.

really the only thing no-no powder is good for is if you want to make more no-no powder, since more no-no powder is the only thing that can prevent the crash.

although while you're mining and refining the no-no, you do end up with a lot of gems you can sell for money, and excess elements that you can use to make shrine powders.
