Conversations with a Newbie
My best friend joined this game during the failed feat of inviting people and he has enjoyed the game much more than he expected.
Since I have been playing for almost a year there are things that I have forgotten were new or scary. Some of his observations and beliefs have had me cracking up.
He said he didn't mind, so I will post some of our conversations here.

^^ That is so true. Also this thread made me happy and all smiley and warm so yay. You guys are the best. - I had the pleasure of meeting favrerocks on Saturday. He appeared on my street (at the same time as Mell, another amazing new player), and he's fantastic. He was a bit nonplussed to be called "the famous favrerocks", but was both gracious and funny. It's a treat to see some of the newer players falling for Glitch and diving right in!

This shouldn't be an indictment of the game, but of favrerocks' hand-eye coordination (recall the issues with jumping).

...next sore throat, gonna buy some cebarkul...yep...then giggle and feel all squishy! - The chickens guide me too. Before I realised there were floating islands in my back yard, I couldn't find one of my chickens so I zoomed out, and there he was... Up on the floating island. Hooray for chickens!

Today favrerocks celebrated his first Zilloween. He was confused about how fireflies worked and thought he stole all my fireflies. So he braved jumping through "Caverna" after he thought he stole all but three of my fireflies. By the time he came back, they had regenerated.
He was very glitchy and gave me a jar of fireflies. He also gave all his friends' butlers birch candy.

I'm atill a bit of a newbie [been here a few months now] so I still remember my fresh newbie time vividly. :3 -

To start off, favrerocks mostly plays with the view zoomed in. He happened to zoom out and saw me use a gameshow ticket.

This thread is just so wonderful! I love the friendship you & faverocks have going and how enthused faverocks is about the game! - I have to just echo what SO many others have said - Thank you both for sharing these priceless moments with all of us! I can't greet anymore because my stubborn old computer won't keep up, but it is that fresh look to our wonderful world that made me love love LOVE greeting! favrerocks, you seriously ROCK, bud and by the way, I totally agree with being happy as hell to get off the "jumping islands" as you put it! And yes, Empyreal, you are a good friend for sure. Thanks again guys! :D

favrerocks: I was at a Vietnamese place and the woman in front of me ordered green tea bubble tea and I thought to myself, "She should meditate." - ^^ I think that means he's a true glitchen, when the lines between RL and game become blurred!
