Question about trolling?[closed- question answered]

I'm not trying to be antagonistic or sarcastic to or about anyone but I've heard it being spoken about many times in this forum and elsewhere but never really had a good definition of what it is. So, could someone please inform me exactly what trolling is? I think I have a basic idea but I always like to be certain of things, especially when they appear in T&C's which this word has done recently. Thanks x
