Sugar Cane Trees

Inspired by the recent talk of new recipes and the absolutely beautiful new snowy area in which none of the current trees look quite at home...

Sugar Cane Trees would be either candy cane striped trees, or evergreen trees bearing tons of tiny candy canes, or just giant candy canes themselves, and would grow only in cold and/or mountainous regions. When harvested, the trees would produce Sugar Canes in qty/value similar to other tree resources.

Sugar Canes could be ground in a Spice Grinder to make Sugar for cooking or munched on raw.

Sugar Canes or ground Sugar + Spice or Fruit + Hooch or Milk (using a Tincturing Kit and/or a Saucepan) could produce Extracts or Syrups : Peppermint, Vanilla, Chocolate, Cherry, whatever tickles the devs' fancy, (this could be a way to make Birch Syrup too!) that we could use for making candy or ice cream or other tasty treats.

• just realized sugar should come from beet, which is a crop, so can grow in the crop garden :o
  or suspect if it'll be introduced it'll be an other spice variant :/
  sugar cane trees are gonna be unlikely :(

• It's not like real world milk comes from butterflies or eggs from trees. Plucking candy off of trees makes perfect Glitchy sense to me!

• i agree it would be in glitchy sense xD, but it wasn't really about sense, rather game semplification, i expect the devs(all imo) to don't create a new "resource" if they're able to use some already existing resource for the same purpose :/
