model home quest (teaching tool for new players)
This expands on the thread "Should glitch give 'crappy' houses to new players"
How about a model home quest:
1. A space anyone could walk into , like the community machine room, with a for sale sign on it. It looks like one of the less expensive homes in Glitch.
2. A slippery salesperson (like the lizard ladies). You'd have to negotiate with the salesperson somehow.
3. You have to save up some cash (like with the snow cones quest. I can't believe I got into the wintery place, bought two cones, couldn't buy the third. It taught me how to save money in the game)
4. You know when you buy/rent a place, you need to make sure the toilet flushes? Plant a seed in the garden, put the trophy the shelf, feed the pig, reorganize the storage cabinet, pet, water and harvest the tree, get a a friend to come visit.
5. Get your papers
6. Maybe it would be a partner quest. Who doesn't talk to friends or family when buying or renting a new place? It's a big decision. A way for new players to make friends.
7. You'd have to use the Glitch real estate listings, use a map of Glitch.
