Well, I did train normally on Saturday and broke the finger (or, to be precise, severely damage my fingernail in a quite bizarre way that I didn’t care to try to explain in detail; but as trivial as it sounds the pain and practical effect is exactly the same for the moment) only on Sunday in the morning. I did a session of iaido (www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjU...; which I won’t be able to do now definitely, as there is no work around for using the right hand), then got forced to participate in the warm-up and then the weekend ended for me in a fashion appropriate to the way it started on Friday. -.-
I feel so down now, because I can't be there to help in any way. BUT - I'm a good listener, tell terrible jokes, get in a good wisecrack now and then, and pretty much make your day whenever I deign to chat with you. :) Hang in there! I'm knitting you a prosthetic hand as we speak!

@Ann, did you find the pattern on etsy? lol, I think you are awesome! @Asthner, don't get hurt (anymore)!!
The injury is not dangerous in any way (i.e. no matter what I do, it won’t have a lasting effect unless I actually break the finger for real), so it’s a good exercise in trudging on the verge of my pain threshold. :)
Ann’s a knitter and I know how to repair stuff by using only a needle and thread. :P We should make a team. ^^
In terms of knitting, considering I seem to have also contracted the flu on Sunday, I could really use a sweater. ^^
You probably won't believe this, but sweaters are my specialty! Name your color! Also - do you have "wool sensitivity" ?
