"spirit not found"

I just finished adding a floor to my tower.  The error message "spirit not found" was displayed, the construction sound effects continued to loop, and no imagination was received (completing floors does grant imagination, do I recall correctly?).

• The continued sound effect happened to me a few times.
  You can reload to get rid of it, or you can repair something and the sound ceases when the item is fully repaired.

• I do not recall correctly, then, woops -- thanks, Papa.  Well, in that case, I have no idea what "spirit not found" means.  *shrugs*

• I saw this for the first time yesterday and was wondering what it means.  I had no problem so I just kept playing.
