for those of you that aren't friends with me on FB or are and haven't heard, my family and I are being evicted. I have no idea where I will be living in about a month. We may be able to get a few more months, but we can't stay. I feel so lost right now.
Even the second time reading it, this is the worst news. Just remember, when things go to hell like this, it's a hardship and a change and a huge obstacle, but it doesn't change who you are, what you're capable of or the validity of your hopes and dreams. I don't know what your local alternatives or resources are, but I hope you guys can find them quickly and with as little red tape as possible!
This is such difficult news to hear. Try best as you can to stay strong & never never give up hope. Holding you & your family close in thoughts. Sending a multitude of Emo hugs your way.
I wish you all the very, very best. I hope it gets worked out to your benefit!!! *what Carl said* HUGS!!!
{{{hugs}}} So sorry to hear this. I'm going to third what Carl said!! - especially little to no red tape! Take care of yourself!!
Awww. I'm so sorry. As 2020 said, things will get better. {{{HUGS}}} and I will be sending good thoughts your way.
I am so very sorry. I wish I could help somehow. You have my love and prayers that something good will come to you and your family. {{{Hugs}}}
Bored, that sucks!!! Aren't evictions illegal in winter??? I wish I could invite you all to come live in my spare room...
I'm so sorry. Always remember: Out of difficulties grow miracles~Jean de la Bruyere. Sending truckloads of hugs your way!
Oh,dear bored, I am so saddened by this unfortunate turn of events and wish I could do more than just send you bushels of hugs and best wishes. I just know you will get through it, but that doesn't make it any better. Please, please keep up your courage and know that there are many out here who will be keeping you and your family in their thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry bored! I can't imagine how difficult this must be on so many levels. Sending you and your family my warmest thoughts, hugs, and hopes for a positive resolution.
To Bad I cant use Imagination to build your family a house that can magically expand, doesn't have to be payed for, and has a magic rock outside
Oh no! We've been through that, but we're in a very good province where you can delay it by forcing it to go through mediation. We delayed it long enough to find a new place and give notice, because we weren't willing to have a wrongful, made-up-reasons eviction in our past. Have you checked if you have a local/state/provincial tenancy branch of government? Of course, that will only work if they're being weird jerks. Nothing can usually be done if it's for the owners to move in themselves or their direct family.
Oh I'm sorry Bored! I hope you find a suitable place soon, and are happy in your new home.
Oh bored!!! This is breaking my heart! Carl P is far more eloquent with words and thoughts than I.... stated so well.... where else are you posting? Wish I could help.
You are a very loved player, if you need any help we're right here with you. I'm so sad to see you going through this. Don't lose hope, my friend <3
Dear Bored....Daily prayers coming your way. I don't know where you are, but I have a large home here in TN you can share for a bit!!
I hope things will be better soon. It is so hard to be in a situation where we have no control, and feel like others are controlling our lives. But something good may come from this. Hugs and wishes for better things to come. And know that all of us are here if you need to talk. Words aren't much at a time like this, but remember that we care.
That's horrible, bored! I'm so sorry to hear about this. I will pray for you at Mass today, and continue to do so, that you and your family will find another place to live. Hopefully one as good, or better than, where you are now!
OMG I'm so sorry, i hope things get better for oyu and that things smooth out ASAP, just know where always hear
Hi Bored, so sorry to hear about this challenge. Have you called 211 to get support from the United Way? If not, that may be a good first step. I don't know where you are but if you want to email me at info@sagemoney.org I will forward any resources I can find. Many non-profit agencies help people is this sort of transition.
I am so very sorry for you and your family. That is just horrible. I hope some of the advice above will help you, and that you'll feel a little better knowing there are people here that are thinking about you and wishing you courage and hope!
Oh bored! I am so very sorry to hear this! Such a terribly upsetting thing to go through on so many levels! I certainly will add my prayers to the many others that I am sure are flying heaven-ward on your behalf, as there are so many of us here that love you! Hang on - even if it is just a day at a time - we were very close to being in that position just a few short months ago, had been hanging by a thread for almost two years - wondering which utility was going to be shut off next and depending on the local food bank for anything we could get. It was so stressful - I just kept praying that it would all work out SOMEHOW. Even when we thought we saw a light at the end of the tunnel... well, let's just say it turned out to be a train, and we managed to get off the track in time. In any case, like Carl said - look into what is available locally. Google it, follow links, make calls, fill out forms - it is hard, but it will help you get by for the moment. That, plus the kindness of strangers (and family), and many prayers were the things that got us through it. Just take a day at a time, and try not to keep it all on your shoulders - let the Big Guy (and no, I don't mean stoot - *wink*) hold it for you from time to time. I'll be thinking about you. *BIG HUGS*
